Job Description

Our client in vehicle tracking and valuation industry is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Officer to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial reporting, with proven experience in reconciliation, budgeting, and reporting in line with IFRS standards. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial records and supporting overall business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of company records.
  • Conduct debtor and creditor reconciliations, following up on outstanding balances.
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly financial reports for internal and external use.
  • Assist in the preparation and monitoring of cash flow forecasts and budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS 15 – Revenue from Contracts with Customers (specifically Clause 31: Allocation of the Transaction Price).
  • Support audits and ensure all financial documents are audit-ready.
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Assist in process improvements and implementation of internal controls.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the vehicle tracking or valuation sector or in a consultancy firm.
  • At least a diploma in Accounting, Business Management, or a related field.
  • CPA Part II and above is a must.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Solid understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision and meet strict deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
